Page protect plugin adds the ability where agent/admin can put restriction on the contents of the knowledge base to be previewed by end users enforcing "submit a request" to all those restricted areas.
Agents/Managers have the ability to both protect and unprotect pages.
There are three protection levels admin/agents can use while protecting your help center.
Semi Protection : Add protection to specific or on all the articles.
Mid Protection : Add protection to specific or on all articles, categories and sections.
Full Protection : Add protection to entire knowledge base by enforcing "submit a request".
Page protect plugin work on the following areas:
Home Page: Restrict end user to preview home page of your help center by enforcing “submit a request” each time he open the help center.
Help Center Articles: Help Center article pages that includes sensitive information. Specific article can be protected or restriction to all the articles can be applied.
Help Center Section : Specific section can be protected or restriction to all the sections can be applied. Articles under particular section/sections can also be restricted.
Help Center Categories : Specific categories can be protected or restriction to all the categories can be applied. Section and articles under particular category/categories can also be restricted.
Requests : Apply restriction to My request that contains something which you do not want to show. All requests and reseated request can be restricted to preview.
Contributions : Apply restriction to Contributions. Add restriction to Question and Answers that contains something which you do not want to show more. All or specific question/answers and can be restricted.
Following : Apply restriction to Following page. Add restriction so to prevent from enduser to preview it.
