Zendesk launches Guide Help Center Theme Marketplace

Zendesk has launched Guide (knowledge-base) Help Center Theme Marketplace. Zendesk Guide customers can now purchase themes, and have it automatically installed. Earlier they need to purchase a theme from outside and install it manually.

The payment capture, and theme installation workflow is  taken care by Zendesk. It’s an automatic process.

There are two editions for each theme, and a customer can choose to buy standard (no code access) or developer (full code access) edition. Most customer will find that standard is sufficient for their requirements.

The standard edition themes can be automatically upgraded whenever there is a new version of theme is made available by the theme authors. The developer edition should be automatically upgraded as long as the customer hasn’t changed the code in the original copy of installation.

We think, you can create a copy of original purchase and  should be able to make changes in those. We are still playing with new marketplace so we have to confirm a few things  

We (Diziana) were among a few handpicked partners who were supposed to be part of this launch. Unfortunately, due to some last moment glitch (integration issues due to regulatory requirements by Stripe India) our themes are not available on marketplace.

Zendesk is working hard to improve the payment workflow to meet the requirements of Stripe India. We hope our themes will be available very soon on Zendesk Guide Theme Marketplace. 

The earlier theme listing page, on Zendesk site, that redirected customers to our site has been taken down to make place for new marketplace. We understand that many customers would miss our affordable and diverse themes; but that’s just for short term. We are here, and our online store is still here.
